Haworth's Best Cafes
Cobbles and Clay
Cobbles and Clay is a charming café and pottery painting studio located at the top of Main Street. Known for its welcoming atmosphere and creative vibe, it's a favorite spot for breakfasts, especially their signature 'Cobbles and Clay' breakfast featuring cooked halloumi and smashed avocado - a favourite of ours!
The café offers a wide range of fresh, healthy, and modern dishes with plenty of gluten-free, dairy-free, and vegan options. In addition to delicious meals, they serve fresh orange juice, coffee, and have a variety of cakes and drinks.
Visitors can also enjoy pottery painting at their tables, making it a fun activity for both children and adults. Choose a piece of blank pottery, paint it, and leave it to be cured in their kiln. Your masterpiece will be ready for pickup or can be posted to you.
The café now seats nearly 100 guests and employs a dedicated team of 30. Jill's passion for art and good food has created a unique space where locals and tourists alike can relax and enjoy the creative atmosphere.
Forteas 1940s Tearoom - Closed!
Forteas 1940s Tearoom was a charming themed café, capturing the essence of the 1940s. The décor is rich with vintage memorabilia, creating an atmosphere that feels like a step back in time. Staff dressed in authentic 1940s attire add to the nostalgic experience. Forteas has even been featured on 'The One Show'.
Unfortunately the cafe has closed down permanently, although the owners have hinted at a return in some other form. Time will tell!
Haworth Wholefoods
Although primarily a wholefoods shop, Haworth Wholefoods doubles up as a cosy café with a prime location at the top of Haworth Main Street.

The café offers limited seating, including a table indoors and two tables outdoors, perfect for soaking in the village atmosphere. In addition to their range of wholefoods, they stock alternative snacks and cold drinks like kombucha, sugar-free soft drinks, and a variety of snacks catering to special dietary requirements.

The Buffet Car Cafe offers a range of hearty breakfast sandwiches, from simple bacon butties to fully loaded options like sausage, spam, egg with hash browns, black pudding, and melted cheese.
Villette Coffee House and Bakery
Villette Coffee House & Bakery, located opposite Cobbles and Clay, offers a range of dishes including full English breakfasts, sandwiches, pastries, pies, and a selection of cakes. They also serve various teas and coffees.

Despite mixed ratings, Café Verde provides outdoor seating for patrons to enjoy their food and beverages on a warm day. It's a dog-friendly, non-smoking establishment.
Bronte Bridge Cafe
Located just over the bridge from Haworth Station, Bronte Bridge Cafe offers a variety of hot and cold sandwiches, burgers, hot drinks, and daily specials including the famous Bronte Big Breakfast.
